Lucerne Farms formally began in 1999 after many years of clearing, cutting firewood, and doing all of the heavy mowing at Loch Lomond Farm in Powell, Ohio. I have been selling firewood since 1980 continuously from the property. One of the lessons I have learned over the years is that although drying firewood is not rocket science, you can not take any shortcuts. I pride myself in having the driest hardwood firewood available in Central Ohio throughout the year and having many local restaurants that rely on my wood for daily use for their pizza ovens and grills.
